COLORADO MESTIZO DANCERS believes in the preservation of the Mexican culture.  It addresses this through practice and presentation of the beautiful art of Mexican folk dancing.  With traditional costumes and traditional music from several regions of Mexico, the members of the COLORADO MESTIZO DANCERS express their pride in their culture and heritage.

  The COLORADO MESTIZO DANCERS consisis of members from ages two to 60 years old, and has five levels of dance groups: Beginners, Intermediates, Advance, Adult and Professional/Elites.  The groups practice at several locations thoughout Denver and throughout the year.  Included in their repertoire are traditional and favorites from Veracruz "La Bamba", "El Coco", and "La Cumbamba". From the state of Jalisco "Jarabe Tapatio", "La Negra", "El Carretero" and many, many others.  All Performed in colorful costumes, somberos, and intrique foot steps.
